Genevieve LongGenevieve Long is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire. She is a New Hampshire transplant that found her home here in the Granite State in 2016. After working in the Human Service Field for 3 years with a variety of populations, Genevieve decided it was time for higher education and attended the University of New Hampshire. Graduating with a Masters Degree in Social Work in 2020. Genevieve stumbled upon a training with Dr. Cassie Yackley during graduate school and quickly found Child Parent Psychotherapy (CPP) to be the missing link in her clinical approach. In the fall of 2020. Genevieve was part of the 4th learning collaborative of CPP and began practicing, becoming a rostered CPP Provider in 2022.
After working in community mental health and other non-profit organizations for a few years, Genevieve joined The Center for Trauma Responsive Practice Change under the New Hampshire Early Childhood Trauma Treatment Project (known as Project NETT), as the Grant Manager. In the spirit of staying connected to her clinical background, Genevieve also maintains her own private practice part time, serving children and families across the state virtually and in person in the Concord area. |
